Never hold back, always spread your love
Real.

To dream is a beautiful thing. But, to believe in that dream so much that you chase it, makes it a million times more beautiful.
Stereotypes are something that cloud over so many people today and even ourselves, sometimes, whether we realize it or not. Judging someone by orientation, expecting people to react or act a certain way because of the way they dress, predicting things about their individuality before we even say one word to them. How many times have you hesitated conversation or acted a certain way solely based off the smog in your mind called “judgement”. Who are we to determine whether a person should be treated a certain way or not? We all deserve equal love and respect.
I have a challenge for you all… throughout the week please try and make a conscious effort open your eyes and see how many times you catch yourself hesitating making a new friend or speaking to someone with negativity due to a stereotype or judgement. Try to broaden yourself by seeing things from that persons perspective. Visualize how you would like to be treated if the situation was turned and you were in their shoes. Try to open your eyes and realize, we’re all human beings on this earth with hearts that have suffered in one way or another… why not make this world we walk on a better place by opening our hearts, accepting people and truly allowing ourselves to live our days with light and open mindedness. Just because you don’t understand someones differences does not mean that they are bad ones… it just means they are unfamiliar. Familiarize yourself with people, hearts and yourself. Break the mold, give it a try and see how it goes. It’s up to us to start the movement and the change begins inside of each and every one of us.
If any of you have stories about a time when you judged someone because of their differences and had the outcome surprise you, please share. We’d love to hear about it.
Love Everyone, Love Ourselves
